Little Red Riding Hood for midterm project

I will be focusing on the film Freeway (1996)

Currently looking at Jack and the Beanstalk for the final paper.

I'm currently looking at other fairy tales because I think I'm making a switch.  Will update shortly.

sources being used so far

Disney's Cinderella

The paper will address the influence on children (both boys and girls) in regards to what they should expect and what is expected of them.

I've never seen "Freeway" - what is the "Red Riding Hood" connection? It sounds great!

It's a modern spin on Red Riding Hood. I noticed it's even mentioned in the intro to the story in our book. I really enjoy this movie. I'm going to bring the dvd to class and assign it's viewing as a homework assignment for you ;)

I'm currently restarting my paper because my computer crashed and froze on me as I was trying to upload. I had to race to Best Buy and buy a laptop to get this done before class in the morning. Just got done setting it up and installing Microsoft Office.

That's awful! I'm sorry about all that!

Jack and the Beanstalk is a great fairy tale for the final paper. What adaptations are you considering?

What scholarly sources are you considering? And what topic are you thinking about?
