Fairy Tales in Visual Media Project: The Literary source that I'm going to use for my project is Snow White.

These are the images that I'm considering for Snow White. I uploaded them last week but I didn't put it on my page. Sorry still learning wiki. I picked these two because from looking at these pictures, they are completely different from one another by how you determine how the movie will be. Mirror Mirror is our typical fairytale princess that we're used to whereas Snow White and the Huntsman goes against those norms that we would expect from a fairytale princess.

Final Paper: I am thinking about doing Sleeping Beauty or Rapunzel.

Topic: How Rapunzel has shaped over time through movies and novels

Sub topic: How it's evolved into how society is now according to the movie "Tangled"

This is a great fairy tale, and there are so many visual representation of this fairy tale (especially now, with a few new movies AND "Once Upon a Time," which uses this fairy tale as a sort of "home base").

What images are you considering?

The evolution of Rapunzel into Tangled is great! You'll want to think of ways to focus that topic as you go (i.e. the evolution of female desire or the evolution of the evil witch or… something specific).
