Lollie's Fairy Tales in Visual Media

Page history last edited by Katie Lollie 10 years, 2 months ago

I will be looking at Little Red Riding Hood

I had a hard time choosing specific parts of the movies to do in the essay, as there were so many great things to look at so I decided to compare/contrast 3 modern advertisement photos with 3 of William Crane's pictures instead. However, I may do a side project for myself in order to still compare/contrast the movies in my personal time, because I think it would definitely be an interesting analysis (just too many pages!!).

This fairy tale has a plethora of visual representations! Looking forward to what you do with it (and you may use the material we've already addressed in class).

Those are great visuals. Remember to focus on specific visuals/images in the films (because it's only 3-5 pages)! Looking forward to how you compare this with the literary tale!
